Aileron Rib

Adding a simple internal foam rib to the aileron and moving the hinge point back into the airfoil itself, we attach the air flow to the aileron and hold it there for a brisk control response. Most birds have a very slow roll rate and feel slugish because of the aileron stalling and turbulence on trailing edge of the wing. Add a internal rib and cover your ailerons with dacron and aircraft dope used on rag and tube aircraft. Don't be worried if it sets in the sun for a day or two tied down. See page 3 for more info on the aileron hinge designed for internal aileron rib airfoil.
